Silver R34 GT-R Skyline from JEM

During a visit to Just Engine Management, we happened across this silver bullet in-the-making.  Speaking to Dean, it sounds like the team at JEM are going to town on this one giving it the works from front to back. At first we were wondering what on Earth would possess someone to pull apart a Z-Tune… It turns out that looks can be deceiving. Read on.

Z31 300ZX VG30DET

We came across this fair lady (yeah you saw what I did there) during our visit to Croydon Racing Developments. Con tells us that this car has been in the shop “for far too long,” talking in the years. It should turn key sometime soon though, expecting to make 1000HP on the streets from a cast iron VG30DE(BIG)T.

Our reigning Motive Drag Battle champion, PJ, is back in 2011 sporting a new set-up with more power. Last year he had 450kW in his S13 with an SR20, which was enough for the car to run a 9-second pass at Sydney Dragway and an 11 flat at 150mph a the airport, but the set-up is even more mental this year. How does a VE head with all the fruit and 580kW @ wheels on 40psi sound? And all done a 2.0-Litre bottom end!!! Simply crazy. We cant wait to see what it does at Cootamundra Airport this weekend.
